The 2024 QILT Student Experience Survey (SES) is open from Thursday 1 August and closes on Sunday 1 September.
The SES is administered by the Social Research Centre on behalf of the Australian Government Department of Education. It collects valuable insights on student experiences, education, and well-being. This year, we are extending the survey to all current Macquarie University College, undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students, aiming for a wider breadth of insight than previous years.
The SES is one of the best ways for us to hear the collective thoughts of our students.
The results will guide decision-making for The Macquarie Advantage education strategy as well as sector rankings.
The 2023 outcomes are publicly available on the QILT and ComparED websites. SES data also feeds into university comparisons in The Good Universities Guide.
We want to hear from as many students as possible. A lecture slide is available for teaching staff to use to promote the survey. The easiest way for students to complete the survey is via a link sent to their student email by the SRC or by accessing a link to their survey via a pop-up that will appear when they log into iLearn.
Students can find additional information including on campus activations on the student webpage. All survey responses are confidential.
For further information about the survey, visit the QILT SES website. Questions about the administration of the survey can be directed to analytics.request@mq.edu.au.
